Anxiety

Anxiety can show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, irritability, tension, and avoidance. Therapy focuses on helping you understand what is driving the anxiety and what is keeping it going day to day. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we identify triggers, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and build practical coping skills you can use in real time. You’ll also work on reducing avoidance and building confidence in situations that currently feel hard. The goal is not to eliminate anxiety completely. The goal is to help you respond differently so anxiety stops running your life.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD is not just “being anxious” or “liking things a certain way.” It’s a cycle of intrusive thoughts, doubt, and the urge to do something to feel certain or safe. That “something” can be visible (checking, reassurance, avoidance) or internal (mental reviewing, analyzing, trying to feel “sure”). Treatment is structured and skills-based. We use CBT, and when clinically appropriate, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you face triggers and reduce compulsions over time. You’ll learn how to tolerate uncertainty, stop feeding the OCD loop, and get back to living according to your values.

Life Transitions

Transitions can create anxiety, grief, and a sense of being “stuck,” even when the change is positive. Common examples include career shifts, relationship changes, becoming a parent, moving, loss, or entering a new stage of life. Therapy helps you slow down the mental noise, clarify what matters, and make decisions with more confidence. We focus on coping skills, emotional regulation, and practical next steps, not just insight. The goal is to help you move forward with direction, not just survive the transition.

Stress and Burnout

Burnout often looks like mental fatigue, low patience, poor sleep, reduced motivation, and feeling “on edge” all the time. Therapy helps you identify the pressures, patterns, and expectations that are draining you. We use CBT-based strategies to reduce overwhelm, improve boundaries, and build sustainable routines that support recovery. You’ll also work on stress tolerance skills and ways to reset your nervous system without needing to shut down or escape. The goal is to help you function better now and prevent the same cycle from repeating.

Depression

Depression can affect energy, motivation, sleep, concentration, and self-esteem. It often pulls you into withdrawal, isolation, and a “why bother” mindset, which then makes the depression stronger. Therapy focuses on breaking that cycle in a realistic way. Using CBT, we work on shifting unhelpful thought patterns and rebuilding daily structure through small, consistent actions. We also target habits that impact mood: sleep, activity, social connection, and problem-solving. The goal is to help you regain momentum and feel more like yourself again.

Running & Hiking Therapy

Some people do better in therapy when they’re not sitting still. Running and Hiking Therapy offers a movement-based option that can reduce stress and help you think more clearly. We set a plan for the route, pace, privacy, and session focus ahead of time. You’ll still get structured therapy, real tools, and accountability. The difference is that you’re doing the work while moving outdoors.

ADHD

ADHD is not an intelligence problem. It’s often an executive functioning problem. Many people with ADHD know what to do, care about doing it, and still struggle with consistency. Therapy focuses on practical systems that reduce friction and increase follow-through. We work on task initiation, planning, time management, organization, emotional regulation, and reducing procrastination and avoidance. Using CBT-based strategies, we build routines that fit how your brain works instead of relying on willpower. The goal is better consistency at work, at home, and in relationships.
